Horton-Wampler Funeral Home is a family-owned business. Carolyn "Susie" (Caldwell) Horton & Patty (Caldwell) Wampler are sisters and funeral directors who own Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills, MO.
They were raised in the funeral business their whole lives.
Their father Ray 'Bud' Caldwell and their mother Miami Caldwell were in the funeral business with Bud's family, Caldwell Funeral Homes.
Their father Bud was dedicated to the funeral business. He loved talking to people & meeting new people, serving the people of the community; he was in the ambulance business, ordering caskets, keeping the hearses clean, going on calls, being on the funeral services & going to the local coffee hangouts in the mornings.
Later years Susie & Patty worked with their father & family at the Caldwell Funeral Home in Park Hills, Mo. (Flat River) until 1991, the ladies got the opportunity to buy Crabdree Funeral Home in Park Hills, Mo.
Their father joined them & was manager of Horton-Wampler Funeral Home until his passing in 2006. At Horton-Wampler Funeral Home, we are here to serve our community.
