Velma G. Miller, 73, of Park Hills passed away June 6, 2021 at Missouri Baptist Hospital.

She was born October 7, 1947 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Preceded in death by her parents, James Olin Goodson and Bessie 'Woods' Goodson, by her husband Gary Wayne Miller,  sisters, Mary Snowdell and Glenda Goodson and a brother, Jim Goodson.

Survived by children, Patrick Donald Skaggs and wife Lucretia,  step-daughter, Lynnette Purkey,  granddaughter, Laura Skaggs,  great grandchildren, Zayley, Liam, Charleigh,  sister, Catherine Dee,  brother, Ervin Goodson and wife Joyce,  sister, Beverly Jarvis and husband Roger,  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

She was a member of Hopewill Church of God.

Visitation Wednesday June 9, 2021 after 5:00 P.M. at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills.

Service Thursday June 10, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home with Rev. Sheldon Marler.
