Ruth Virginia 'Nelms' Whitehead passed on January 8, 2022.

She was born February 4, 1921 in Elvins, to Charles and Maude Carter Nelms,

her husband, Jim,

2 brothers, and 2 sisters and their spouses.

She is survived by her son, Michael Whitehead (Dianne) of Gainsville,

4 granddaughters, Lori McNally (Chris) of Tallahassee,

Kristen Stewart (Chris) of Winter Springs,

Aimee Whitehead of CO.,

and Michelle Beasley (David) of CO.

3 great granddaughters, 2 great grandsons and 1 great, great granddaughter.

Cremation services were by Crevasse's Simple Cremation in Gainsville, FL.

Interment was Saturday April 23, 2022 at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington, Mo. with Rev. Bill Bond.

Arrangements with the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home of Park Hills, Mo.
