Obituary

Roger Glenn "Satch" Wilcut, 74, of Leadington  passed away November 18, 2021 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital.

He was born July 6, 1947 in Portsmouth, VA to parents John & Virginia Wilcut. Roger loved the outdoors and when he was able he used to love playing pool, fishing, camping, and looking at the stars.  He loved to make people laugh and if he could get a "scare" out of you, he'd laugh about it for days. He spent much of his time with the people he loved. Many who knew him would agree that he was stubborn and headstrong, but if you could get past his tough outer shell, he truly was softhearted. Roger proudly served his country as a US Marine in the Vietnam War and was a proud member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Farmington. He routinely read his bible and had very strong faith. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara Wilcut, alongside his son Roger Wilcut Jr., Parents, John & Virginia Wilcut, and brothers, James Wilcut & Michael Wilcut.

He is survived by his children, Kari (Rob) Noll, Maria (Jason) Moore, LeAnn (Ken) Sisk; Brother John (Michelle) Wilcut; his grandchildren, Lauren (Josh) Clubbs, Taylor Waters, Michael Waters, Lucas, Robby, & Carley Noll; His great-grandchildren Cayden, Trenden, Madalyn, & Austyn Clubbs, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
