Richard (Ricky) Hinkle Jr of Mascoutah, IL passed away at the age of 49 on September 16, 2022.

Proceeding him in death were his grandparents; Milton and Jetta Bartley of Elvins, MO, Marion and Carolyn Wagoner of Gilbert, AZ and Aunts and Uncles. He was survived by his parents Rick and Betty (Bartley) Hinkle formerly of Elvins, MO, his son Jason Hinkle and his wife Megan and granddaughter Paisley of Jackson, MO, daughter Julia Hinkle of Mascoutah, IL, and daughter Olivia Hinkle of Warner Robbins, GA, sister Amy (Hinkle) LaHay and her husband Dan LaHay of Foley, AL, niece Baylie McCormick, her husband John McCormick, great niece Hayden and great nephew Brooks of Tucson, AZ, nephew Ty LaHay of Foley, AL, and Rick's special soulmate Joanne Rule of Belleville, IL , Uncle Gene and Aunt Nora Bartley, Aunt Cheryle and Uncle James Taylor and several cousins and many friends.

Rick served 24 years in the US Air Force retiring in 2021 as a Senior Master Sargent, with multiple overseas tours. He was currently employed at Scott Air Force Base. Rick was an avid hunter, outdoorsman and loved the Kansas City Chiefs.

We will be holding a celebration of life memorial at Horton and Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills, MO on October 8 ^th at 2:00 PM. with Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking his wishes would be to make a donation to Camp Hope of Farmington, MO or any Veteran's Help Organization. A donation box will be set up at the funeral home as well.
