Orin Keith Hulsey, 85, of Coos Bay, Oregon, passed away peacefully at home on December 2, 2022. He was born on September 11, 1937, in Leadwood, Missouri, to Floyd Thomas Hulsey and Geneva Rosa (Glore) Hulsey. He graduated from Leadwood HS, and earned his Associate Degree at Flat River Junior College (MAC). He earned his Bachelor's Degree at the Missouri State University in Columbia, Missouri. He retired from his computer Science teaching position at The University of Oregon, in Eugene, Oregon.                                                                                        He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Jo (Vigil) Hulsey. He is survived by one brother. Floyd Ronald Hulsey and wife (Shirley J. 'Midge'); nephew, R. David Hulsey (Chris); niece, Lisa Diane (Hulsey) (Rob) Francis; as well as several grand nephews and nieces. Adam Hulsey, Ellen Hulsey, Hanna (Hulsey) Nettesheim, Paige Hulsey, Sara Abigail Francis, Allison Raye Hulsey, Loralei Ann Hulsey, Brooklyn Nettesheim, Asher Nettesheim, and numerous cousins.                                                                                                                                                              Keith enjoyed trout and deep sea fishing and learned to fly as well. He had to give up flying his plane due to health issues. He was cremated December 8, 2022. There will be a memorial service on February 26, 2023. His last wish was to be flown over his beloved Coos Bay and have his ashes scattered from the plane over the bay as they did with his wife, Jo (Vigil) Hulsey several years ago. This event to occur at a later date. There were no children from any marriage.
