Malinda Juanita Cannell, 98, of The Arbors in Farmington, Missouri, passed away on September 5, 2026.

She was born on October 8, 1927. She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Snelson, her mother Clara Simpson Snelson, and her husband James E. “Gene” Cannell.

She is survived by 4 children: Candace LaBruyere and husband Gary, Stephen Cannell and wife Patricia, Diana Watts and husband Bill, Linda Hager and husband David, 8 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Juanita was a member of the First Methodist Church in Farmington, the Red Hat Society, and the Viburnum Garden Club.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at the St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery, 6776 Vo-Tech Road, Bonne Terre, Mo 63628, with the Reverend Shannon Davis presiding.
