Louis Jerry Barton (Coach Mr. B) of Park Hills,  passed away January 20, 2022 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington.

He was born November 25, 1936 in Potosi, Mo.

Preceded in death by his parents, Louis Barton and Shirley 'Hart' Barton,

sister, Donna Scott

and son, Paul Barton.

He is survived by his wife Louella 'Gant' Barton,

children,  Lorna Barton,

Vicki Jarrell and husband Barry,

Donnie Hale and wife Lisa,

David Oder and wife Tracey,

Sister, Joann Theabeau,

many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

He was a longtime teacher, a military Veteran and a member of Elks and VFW of Potosi.

*The family welcomes sports attire to be worn during his service in honor of Jerry and his love of sports.

He will be missed by family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Childrens Hospital or Alzheimer's.

Visitation Sunday January 23, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home.

Service Monday January 24, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills.

Burial at St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery, Bonne Terre, Mo.
