Ida Mae (Sitzes) Penberthy, 78, of Park Hills passed away at her residence on August 26, 2025. Ida was born on September 17th, 1946, and spent her life taking care of her family. She loved to go to BINGO and to Tunica as often as possible. She enjoyed waterskiing and camping with her family when she was younger.

Ida was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Wilma (Tripp) Sitzes Basler; her husband, Lewis Penberthy, Sr.; sons, Tony Penberthy and Lewis Penberthy, Jr.; her sister Janet Asher.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. Ida is survived by: her daughter, Tammy Penberthy; sister Jane Currington; her brother, Donald Lee Sitzes; grandchildren, Jason and wife Samantha Lee, Robyn Tiefenauer, Anthony and wife Jackie Penberthy, Dustin Lee, and Brittany Penberthy; her great-grandchildren, Dray, Madilyn, Madison, Marshall, Leo, Harper, Rory, Azzy, and Kaitlynn. Nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will begin on Friday, August 29th at 10am. A funeral service will follow at 1pm on the same day. Both the visitation and funeral will be at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home, 1 Federal Park Ave. Park Hills, Mo. with Reverend Mark Moss officiating. Burial will be at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington, Mo.
