Elva Mae Head, 96, of Bonne Terre, Mo.  passed away June 25, 2021 at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre.

She was born Nov. 25, 1924.

Preceded in death by her parents, Blaine Matthews and Effie 'Brown' Matthews,  by her husband, John Head Jr.  and a granddaughter, Lori Lynn Sherrill.

She is survived by her daughter, Marianna Sherrill of Desloge,  grandchildren, Tracy Allison and husband Jeff of Desloge  and John Sherrill and wife Deborah of Desloge,  great grandchildren, Alyssa and husband Justin,  Cole and wife Fah, Eli, Adele and Myra.

Elva was a member of Parkview Freewill Baptist Church of Desloge.

Visitation Tuesday June 29, 2021 from 11:30 A.M. to time of service at 1:00 P.M. at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills, Mo. with Rev. David Watkins.   Burial at St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery, Bonne Terre, Mo.
