Dennis Wayne Johnson, 75, of Park Hills, Mo. passed away June 29, 2021 at Parkland Hospital in Farmington.

He was born Jan. 9, 1946 at Ironton, Mo.

Preceded in death by his parents, Jean 'Holloway' Douglas and Lindell Johnson,   a son, Randy Johnson and a sister, Dianna 'Johnson' Obrien.

Survived by his wife, Carla 'White' Johnson of 56 years,  his children, Teresa 'Johnson' Skaggs and husband Phil,  grandchildren, Haley Pritchett and husband Aaron,  Drew Skaggs and wife Jaden,  Sydney Skaggs and fiance' Ian,  and Megan Skaggs,  great grandchildren, Sawyer Pritchett,  Jaylin Pritchett, and soon to arrive, Deme Skaggs,  brother, Dave Johnson and wife Alberta,  sister, Denise 'Johnson' Marler and husband Jack,  sister-in-law, Patricia 'White' Coble and husband Clifford.

Dennis spent 20 years in the Air Force and Army National Guard serving his country.  Denny loved his cabin on the river, trail rides and taking care of his animals.  He enjoyed playing sports and watching all his grandchildren succeed.

Visitation Friday July 2, 2021 from 9:30 A.M. to time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills, with Rev. William Bond.

Burial will be at St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery, Bonne Terre, Mo.
