Cassaundra "Sandy" Jean Kramer entered the Lord's kingdom on April 30, 2022, surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of her home. Sandy was born July 18, 1959, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, to the late Rene (Hedrick) Carver.
Sandy was what most would refer to as "the neighborhood Mom". She was a strong, independent woman, who loved helping anyone that she could, and was known for having a house full of happy children. She was famous for her delicious chicken and dumplings, explosive roast, and amazing Christmas cookies, which she enjoyed making for others. Sandy opened her home to any, and all that would like to visit. Often you would find her reading the bible and caring for others in need. Sandy's greatest joys were spending time with her family, tending to her flowers, and plants, or doing any type of outdoor activity.
She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-five years, Stephen Kramer, her three children, Tracy (husband Chad) Burns, Alicia (husband John) Hayes, and James "Bobby Joe" (wife Nichole) Kramer; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Sandy also leaves behind her parents, James and Faye Carver, brother, Jim Carver, as well as several in-laws, nieces, nephews, and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tommy Thebeau; sister, Marilynn Dunlap; sister-in-law, Dala Carver; niece, Annie Sisk, as well as both father and mother-in-law, Joe and Cecilia Kramer.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at 11 am, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm, followed by interment at Layne Cemetery in Park Hills.
